If you are living in Lagos, you can check Oba Elegushi Market, near Lekki Beach, Lekki. There are a lot of paintings, and carved works there. And their prices are quite reasonable too. I am not sure about antiquities, but I guess they may have. You may also get some stuff at Eko Suites in VI, but the prices may be high.

I am trying to create an Art and Craft online mart  on my website, www.lekkilinks.com, but it is not ready yet.

Thank you Kunlef for your reply, I will have a look at the places that you mentioned.I would also be looking for individual artists that I can work with.I am not in Nigeria at the moment but I travel down regulary to get items to ship back to the UK.

As for the web design, I currently use a company based in Canada called Site Build It!.  The website costs $300 per annum all inclusive. The package include domain name registration, unlimited webpages, unlimited email address, and many more. They also give you tips on how to make your website rank high on search engines including Google. You can also monitor your site traffic and other info. In addition, I use them because you can still successfully build a website without any web design knowledge and thus take full control of your site without any reliance on webmasters. It is also very suitable for professional webmasters because of its flexibility and generous package.

The price may seem high, but I can tell you that it is worth it. Other cheaper web hosting service usually have a lot of restrictions (including number of pages, data size, monthly traffic, etc) for which you will eventually pay for any upgrade. I do use another webhost called www.domainnenamesanity,com for my personal website for only $40 per annum, but the services are not the same.

Even if you chose other web host, I still recommend you visit the website. It will be actually very suitable for you since you already have a niche - Art and Antiquities.
