Hi folks, I met a friend's kid brother today. While chatting I asked if he had gotten any employment after his NYSC and he told me he hasn't but someone has promised to get him into the police academy. Now, this chap is a serious SU! (And me I no de blend with anything concerning Naija Police). So I asked him how he was going to mix his strong spirituality, morals and ethics with working as a policeman in Nigeria, because directly or indirectly, I believe his hands will be soiled. He said, there are a few good men in the police force. When I asked him to give me an example, he gave the name of the chap who promised to get him into the academy. I reminded him that strictly speaking, if the chap is trying to work a way for you to gain admission into the academy, then he is not so ethical. Well people, don't you agree that if there are still a few good men in the NPL, then they are endangered species? Your take please. . |
