Just feel so bad this evening. I forgot that one doesn't need to put salt in a beans that's not done already and I did. Guess what? After cooking it for like three hours with no sign of it getting done, I started asking my neighbor questions. I feel so dissapointed. That was just my only hope for the evening. I had to force myself and chew them like prison inmates. Wish I even used the money to eat any shit around. Just feel bad. I wonder what should be responsible for this.

But on a serious note, that is how i use to cook my beans.

I put my beans in boiled water, add salt, pepper, palm oil and onion, almost at the same time, then covered and when its about to be done, i put my ponmo and dry fish, and it hasnt been staying longer than necessary on the stove .

Next time, try not to put salt. I don't add salt till its very soft.

Actually, I add my beans in warm water initially with bout 3 Maggi cubes , bring to boil for hours then add other stuff then voila !

I've tried @Greatgod's way too and it worked perfectly in pressure cooker.

thank you, that pressure cooker is a must-have if you want to make cooking beans or corn easy for yourself.
