Report reaching us have it that Some angry youths in Ijapo area of Akure, the
Ondo State capital, took to the streets to protest the
alleged killing of a pregnant woman by a policeman in the area.


We gathered from a source that the
angry youths went to the Ijapo police station to show their displeasure over the alleged murder of the woman.
A source in Ondo confirmed to us that it
took the efforts of some anti-riot policemen to return normalcy to the area.


The protest reportedly happened about 9pm on
Tuesday after the policeman allegedly shot dead the
pregnant woman.
The state Police Public Relations Officer could not be
reached by informationnaija as at press time.
