a congress was held today at the lasu main auditorium between the governing council,the school management well represented stating from the vc,an d the student body
germane issues were discussed ranging from the extent to which we can justify logically, why and certain moral backings as to the reasons that surrounds the contin ual participation of ASUU lasu in the ongoing national strike.the issue of the school fees,security,scholarship,internet services,possibilities of mobilising lasu final year students for the nysc for march 2014,issues also raised were some internal matters,promotion,generation of revenue etc.

on school fees they promised to take the matter back to the government,but it should be noted that the govt spends at least a million naira on a lasuite per session.
on security,since lasu is non residential and it is necessary for the school do their best in ensuring students safety off campus,they promised they will do their best in asserting some level of influence on the police but no guarantee was given because of their level of control
on ASUU strike,the governing council sounded like they have tried to prevail over ASUU-lasu but they are bent of the ASUU-nec directive ,so therefore they have called on all lasuite to engage them on the matter,and lasusu also accepted the mandate as its was a popular proposal.so anytime from now ,a meeting between the students body and ASUU members will come up,even in preventing future strike action,as it does not justify the huge amount of fees students pay.

How do expect the school to conduct exam for d final year student when some lectures are yet to be concluded.

Concerning the ASUU lasu and sug meeting.that's not possible.d Deen of student affairs was telling my friend yesterday that its not possible for lasusu to stop d ongoing strike.so according to the chairman of ASUU-lasu they will have to wait for d NEC to call off d strike.

There are fraternities on lasu ojo campus, but their activities have been reduced to the barest minimum Tanx to the aftermath of damoche's death... After damoche's murder outside the gate of the the school there were other retaliatory attacks and some few cult guys were also killed which made the school and it's premises very unsafe with few weeks to exams. In order to ease the tension hanging in the air and make the school safe once again, police officers were deployed on campus with amounted cars stationed at each gate of the school.... The police officers were going from hall to hall during the exams arresting all d cultists who showed up for the exam and transferred them to SARS.... Most guys who were cultist ended up boycotting the exam to avoid arrest.... Since then the campus has been peaceful and everything going on peacefully... So presently the campus is peaceful and security really uptight...

Wat is d guarantee dat dis scholarship of a tin is real.
How do dese privileges get to d scholar; is it through d HOD?
And how do dey know who is a scholar and who is not?
Finally, when does dese privileges get to d scholar; immediately after resumption of d new session? When pls?

The first part of this post is not true.... The present scholarship scheme is worth just 25per cent of ur present school fees for the session u attained 4.5 as ur cgpa....
