u guys should let me convocate before praying for another internal strike o. it seems u guys don't know our internal strike always takes long to resolve sha. By the way I don't think the lecturers will go on strike because they want the fees to reduce

I,like some other guys would like LASU to embark on local strike so that all of the internal issues bordering them would be solved AT ONES. HAVE YOU HEARD THAT SOME STATES UNIVERSITIES HAVE VOWED TO CONTINUE WITH STRIKE. I must let you know that i'm not sure if LASU is part of those aforementioned or affected state universities but i really suspect. Think of other benefits that would come our ways if the fees were brought down to somewhat... around MAXIMUM OF #150,000 which would be paid by mainly the sciences.

u guys should stop being selfish and stop talking about internal strike o. We staylites fought really hard on ur behalf when the fees were hiked and we even went to the extent of boycotting our exams just to register our grievance with the Lagos state govt and school mgt. We were concerned that even of we are not paying the fees,our younger ones will do so we stood toe to toe with the school authority. But at the end,the Freshers back then( present 200level students ) started paying the fees because they thought they will forfeit their admission, and thus they jeopardized all our efforts and the hiked fees stayed. Now most of them are stocked and don't know how to cough out at least 180k every session, but the deed has already been done. So u see,there is nothing u can do about the fees except maybe they decided to reduce it when campaigning for next election. For now,just accept how things are and stop thinking about internal strike cos it ain't happening
