It has been said that what makes a nation poor is not the lack of funds but lack of entrepreneurial skill.
Athgo International’s 5th Global Innovation Forum at the World Bank headquarters Washington DC, aims to provide 200 promising young people from around the world an opportunity to come together, form start up teams, and build constructive business concepts with guidance and support from high-impact executives, inspiring entrepreneurs, and prominent mentors, all in an exciting and rewarding environment.
The Forum will be co-hosted by the World Bank External Affairs, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the UN Broadband Commission for Digital Divide. Senior executives of some blue chip companies like Daimler and Chrysler will be in attendance and presenting.

Among the Forum’s distinguished speakers and patrons are:
• H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, The President of the Republic of Rwanda
• H.E. Dr. Hamadoun Toure, the Secretary General of the ITU, a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to information and communication technologies.

The program will include 10+ hours of collaborative team innovation with the support from high-impact executives, inspiring entrepreneurs, and prominent mentors leading to development of commercially viable startups that also display positive communal and environmental impact - what Athgo considers as Constructive Businesses. The entrepreneurial teams will be the first to experience a a bleeding-edge technology developed by Athgo Global, a gamified cloud-based marketplace that channels startup development and skills commerce for entrepreneurs and students around the globe.
