Special Guests of Honour: Jide Imagwe (Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youths and Students matter), Jide Bakare, Mr. Kunle Alonge (Estate Surveyor and Valuer), Femi Adesino (Director General, The Sun) and others.
Keynote speaker: Olawale James Ajani (National President,National Youth Council of Nigeria). Other speakers are: Ogbo Awoke Ogbe (CEO, Giantthoughts), Azuh Arinze (Publisher, Yes! International Magazine), Victoria Ibezim (Ohaeri, Founder,Spaces for Change), Dr. Ausbeth Ajagu (MFR) (President, AES).
This conference is for students who strive to be outstanding leaders and transform mother Nigeria. It is also aimed at encouraging students union leaders towards maintaining a successful and exemplary administration.
The conference is planned to serve as an avenue to intimate the students on Miss Institutes pet project titled Strategic Transformation Agenda for Regeneration (Project STAR). The STAR project has four cardinal operational dimensions namely: TrUHands (Trust Ur Hands); Youth empowerment conference and symposiums on leadership and vocational skills acquisition; Reboot (An environment sustainability sensitization initiative); Health for the needy (An initiative aimed at addressing the health needs of the less privileged, homeless as well as the aged; Social Alert (An initiative designed to sensitize the general public on the dangers of social networking and how to be security conscious). The conference is therefore part of the first phase of the operational dimensions.
