Are you delaying marriage whilst allowing yourself to be exposed to fitnah, solely on the basis that you wish to "make that money" first? - Contemplate over the following words of Umar Ibn al-Khattab (radiyallahu anhu):

I have never seen anything stranger than a man who does not seek richness through marriage, even though Allah has promised as a result of it (i.e. Marriage), that which He has promised:

"... If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty." (Qur'an 24:32)

Though, I have seen so many situations like that in the past, where things always turn around (becoming more blessed after marriage) for couple.

How many of us truly believe and follow the above narration? What did you have to put in place before getting marry? Let us deliberate on this:

You are right... We are all afraid of entering into marriage until we are financially alright without knowing that NOT all of us will be rich before getting marry. Some people are destined to be financially alright only after they have complete half of their deen (which is marriage).

Looking at it from social angle, it is always believe that, when a guy is rich, it will be somehow difficult for him to see a good woman that will truly love him for who he is but rather for his money. This show that the words of Almighty Allah is always the best to follow every time.

That doesn't mean a small guy or student should jump into marriage hoping for Allah blessings but we all know the right age and time in which is the best to get marry.

May Almighty Allah continue to guide us through the right path.

You are correct but it is a difficult decision still...

Poverty is real these days but if you find a lady that you can both plan your financial future together, then it might be reasonable to get married. Otherwise, in this day and age, you should have a standard source of income before trying to get married.

That means at least being able to pay rent and feed 2 people.

You are very correct with your assertion.

That is what I am really saying, you know some people always wait for the time when they buy car, build house and are financially sufficient before they start making plan of settling down. Whereas nobody knows when Almighty Allah really destined for anyone to achieve greatness in life.

Once, a guy has a job, mature, can pay rent and feed 2 to 3 people, I think is the right time to just settle down and hope for Almighty Allah blessings to follow.
