DID YOU KNOW THAT: In the 19th century, it was the popular practice in Europe and the United States to prop up loved ones, (especially children) who just died, like they were still alive and then take pictures with them? It can sound crappy now but people did it. Such pictures were then kept for memories. This act is called post-mortem photography (also known as memorial portraiture, memento mori or mourning portraits). It is still done in some parts of Eastern Europe today especially with people who are considered to be very holy. Thanks for your time. Iyaniwura.
