Yes, Jesus Purchased our salvation on the cross of calvary but it is our duty to preserve and maintain the salvation. In mark 10:17-23, The man came running before Jesus and said, master, what shall I do to inherit the kingdom of God, Jesus said, do not comit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, defraud not, honor thy father and mother. And the man answered, master all this have I done, Jesus looked at him, he did not argue with him that he hasn't done all this, But he said "One thing thou lackest" sell thy properties and give it to the poor. Having done all, there was one thing that he felt does not count which would have made him to loose the kingdom. What is that one thing that U feel is countless, that one thing might not preserve ur salvation in the kingdom of God. U feel it does not count but it all matters to God. Ezekiel 3:20, said wen a righteous man turn from his righteousness and comit sin, he will die and all his righteousness which he has done shall be FORGOTTEN.
Let not ur salvation and righeoutness be thrown out and forgotten. Hard times will definately come which will not last forever. It was through hard times that JOSEPH became Governor, Do not let ur hard times lead U astray, hold steadfast in ur faith, Constantly practice the word of God and abstain from that One thing which U think does not matter.
