Hi guys...wat do u tink of an open field wedding reception with canopies. And how can one make cool with a little bit of glamour...decorations i mean....pls wouldnt mind comments with pictures

Open air parties can be glamorous too but first you need to consider a few things

- Weather! inasmuch as you in love with that thought, you don't want your guests getting drenched now, do you? please don't rely on the weather man o, at least not in naija.

- insects and bugs - you are going to have to fumigate that field 2 or 3 days ahead to prevent/reduce flies and insects hovering around.

- Conveniences - it's a party and definitely people will want to ease themselves. will the venue provide or you have to make provisions


Tent or marquee - they are available in different sizes so rather than get several small canopies, you get one or two that will seat your guests as well as caterers and other vendors.

Decorating a field wedding reception venue depends on budget and taste. you can choose to do flowers, real or artificial, or regular decor but I will suggest you use less of drapes and choose colors that complement the color green.
