john mikel obi, discovered at the 2005 under 20 world cup with so much promise joined chelsea afterwards.
he authomatically gained a place in the nigeria senior team even though is yet to score a goal in the premier league after so many seasons. the guy has completely metamorphosized from a very creative midfielder to a stuck daft dumb square passing player for london club chelsea where he plays not by merit, but because of the nigerian michael emenalo the technical director. ....

it is because of obi that luis meirelez was sold and michael essien loaned so there will be no competition for him, yet he ha s failed to shine. that notwithstanding, obi helped chelsea win its first champions league title (no matter how bad he played) and also nigeria to win the afcon. but i am looking at a "Ghanaian" Mikel obi, if he would start for the black stars, knowing the very high standards of the black stars..no offense.

the danger will be that, he would be competing with agyeman badu, emmanuel frimpong, anthony annan, michael essien, rabiu mohammed, derek boateng, kwadwo asamoah and sulley muntari for the Ghana holding~midfielder role. you think he has a chance? your guess is as good as mine

your assumption is so misleading. did mikel win those trophies by himself alone? that alone doesnt make him a good player. there were better holding midfielders like alonso, yaya, rabiu etc who didnt win these trophies, so come again...

@gbagbo aren‘t u supposed to facing trials for warcrimes at the Hague what are u doing on a sports page?
To answer ur ? anyway, the whole Ghana first eleven will not even get a place on the Super Eagles bench.

Bla, blah, blah.....at the end of the day, the Black Stars haven't won squat in 3 decades. So shut your trap and sit down.

RAUL Mereiles was sold because of Lampard was dropped into a deeper role which was a mistake, Essien loaned out because they thought Romeu would push for a starting spot with Mikel. For Ghana not to call up Essien means they felt (i cant remember his name) he played during the world cup I think he plays in Norway.... he is better than Essien and Muntari

anthony annan the name I was looking for

Which cheap nations cup? So now it has become cheap. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury may I point out the earlier posts , hyping the Black Stars. After the "Black Divers" (no one was better at diving than Ghana grin grin grin) were knocked out, the Nations Cup was no longer important. Mtchewwwwww
