Converge Community is a Social Development Initiative that organizes conferences quarterly with different themes. It is a platform that brings contemporary issues in our Nigerian Society to the fore, with young people as the main targeted audience.

The Themes include: New Thinking, Change Makers, Creative Economy, and Enabling Enterprise.

The next Converge Conference is
themed ‘Rewire Port Harcourt’ and it will be holding on Tuesday, the 30th of April 2013 at Aztech Arcum, Stadium Road, Port Harcourt.

Converge Rewire Port Harcourt will bother on how we can re-evaluate the beliefs, values, ideologies, morals, ethics, and principles that influences our; personal conduct and character, relationship with
others, attitude towards work, business and leadership philosophies, political inclinations, and sense of responsibility towards the advancement of the society.

The lined up speakers for the event are Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah[Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese], Barr. Nimi Walson-Jack[Lawyer, Civic Education Expert, and former Commissioner with RSIEC], and Ngozi Obigwe [Former COO of LEAP AFRICA].

The event features an Unconference Session where participants mount the podium to make spontaneous presentations on their innovative ideas and initiatives, and the Post-Conference Skills Workshops that will further train young people on basic soft and life skills.
