Memories remind me Scary dreams frighten me Aspirations swell in me Emotions fill in me Expectations pressure me Desires overcome me My conscience pricks on me Society picks on me Enemies outplay me Friends betray me Destiny decides for me Life overwhelms me I stopped believing in me Until He spoke to me When she spoke to me Awakened was the He in me As I put all behind me And say that He's with me |
