Abuja – The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, May 1, as public holiday to commemorate Workers’ Day. The Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, made the announcement on Friday in astatement in Abuja. The statement, which was signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs Anesthesia Nwoebia, also congratulated Nigerians for their resilience and commitment in the face of the challenges of daily living. Moro urged Nigerian workers to sustain their support for the Goodluck Jonathan administration’s efforts to lead the country onthe right path to the next level. Thank God is workers day atleast the PUBLIC CIVIL SERVANT/SLAVES will take a day off after unfruitfull serving there PUBLIC MASTERS. |
