Was recently involved in a landed property, and the following survey figures (survey plan) came up. Though its not a clear cut straight land. I will love to know if this can be called 2 plots of land.

Width on both side: 20.20m and 22.72m
Length on both sides: (on one side, 20.70m and another 20.70m) , and on the other side,45.44m

I am not actually convinced this is close to being called 2 plots.

All the property lawyers, land agents, architects and whom it may concern should please come to my rescuer before I make a mistake...

Whats the AREA? Thats the only way you can assure if it is 2 plots or not. From the way you mentioned it, it is not a rectangle. so finding the area is not easy just like that. A single plot is 18m by 36m which is 648square meters.

lawyer: Check the survey plan and post the square Meters written at the top here. A regular size of a plot of land is 648sqm per plot

I was thinking Anambra's standards is not same as Lagos's. The shape looks funny through, intend making use of only one plot, but from the look of things, I wonder what shape the building will take, on a plot of land.

Standards are same worldwide. Your Architect will design your building with the shape of the plot of land in mind. Nothing to worry about with the shape.

I believe a plot of land in Anambra should be less than the regular ones we have in lagos which is about 648sqm. Although 930.237Sqm is just about a plot in lekki phase 1, Lagos.

why? A plot is a standard survey measurement of 18 by 36. Why should it be different in Anambra?

It depends on your location I.e what dimension is considered a standard plot.
The dimension of most standard plots I know of are measured 100 ft by 50 ft. So the Area = 5000 sqft
To convert sq ft to sq m, divide the sq.ft by 10.764

5000 sqft ÷ 10.764 = 464.51 sqm ( 1 plot)

464.51 sqm x 2 = 929.02 sqm

So you have two plots, unless the dimension of a standard plot in that location is different.

In some locations, a stadard plot would be measured 60 ft by 120 ft.

To convert feet to meter, multiply by 0.3048

60 ft x 0.3048 = 18.288 m
120 ft x 0.3048 = 36.57m

18.28m x 36.57m = 668.49 sqm ( 1 plot)

We are saying the same thing. I'm just reiterating the point to the op that the size of a standard plot depends on the location and while most people are used to measuring them ft by ft, some people approximate th e dimensions in meters.

A plot of land in Rivers State is 100ft by 50ft Which translate approximately to 475sq meters.

Please state the measurement of a plot of land in Anambra state.
