In truth,i do not know much about Ajaokuta steel Company. But the information reaching me is saying the company can engage 60% of the Nigerian Youth. And if what i read through d dailies are anything to go by,the FG is wasteful and frivolous! a lot of money had been invested in the place-just like the power sector-but all are fruitless. Methinks saboteurs are hellbent on scuttling all d efforts to revive the company. Hey,i will need an update on it. Over to you the Erudites! |

Well, that means our govt have a misplaced priority as they don't do something that can benefit Nigerians except themselves. In my opinion, everything cannot be privatized. |

It is a pity Nigerian leaders are politicising what would have been the safe haven for unemployed youths. In addition to the info gathered above, I also heard that the place is functioning on a small scale but for the benefits of a CABAL. The cabal get contracts to supply parts from abroad, collect huge sums of money from the government and heads to AJAOKUTA steel to fabricate the parts. I learnt this is a secret deal in which highly placed personnel of the AJAOKUTA steel industry are involved. |
