Em-my: I heard its ur jamb score divided by 4 plus ur pume score divided by 2.... e.g 200/4=50 plus pume score, 50+50=100/2=50 |

Gaining admission to study into the Delta State University(DELSU), Delta State is purely on merit. The Delta State University(DELSU) as a centre of excellence admits candidates with the requisite qualifications for their programmes of choice. Admission through UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) and some other criteria as listed :- 1. Minimum of Credit passes in Five (5) subjects including English Language at the SSCE, GCE O’Level and any other equivalent examinations. 2. UTME score of at least 180 For All Courses. In addition to the above, candidates must make the Delta State University(DELSU) their 1st and/or Second choice to qualify to write the Post-UTME Screening Test. For final selection into programmes, the candidate’s average scores from the UTME and Post-UTME screening Tests are used. The cut-off point for admission changes form programme to programme based on the overall performance of the candidates in the programme and is determined by the University before the release of the First(merit admission list). Admission through Direct Entry 1. Minimum of credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Languageat SSCE, GCE O’Level or equivalent qualification. 2. Either an HSC, OND or NCE in the relevant programme to be undertaken in DELSU. 3. An acceptable score is prescribed for admission at the Direct Entry Screening Exercise. 4. Final selection is a combination of candidate’s certificates and the direct entry screening result. |

I just checked my utme score and it is 216. UNN & DELSU is my first & second respectively, now am planning on putting DELSU as my 1st & 2nd choice. My course is Political science. Guys! What chances do i hav in making it into Delsu dis year? |

Samawesome: Do delsu accept 2 sittings in o'level result?Yes and No... It depends on ur dept. Nursing,pharmarcy and Bms depts doesnt accept as at 2011. I cant say for other depts. Whats ur dept so I can find out for u. |

Torch1: Pls, how much is their fees for political science students?DELSU students of Delta State origin do not pay for tuition fee of #15,000 while non-deltans do,,... Therefore, non deltans pay #15,000 more than deltans in DELSU... The school fees is about #23,000 for Deltans... And acceptance is #10,000 for all,.,. ,,, ,, i will confirm the actual school fee later in the day.. |

WHILE WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR DELSU'S POST-UTME DATE....I GUESS DIS WUD B A BIT OF INSPIRATION FOR SOME FOLKZ..... There was this robbery in Guangzhou, the robber shouted to everyone: "All don't move, money belongs to the state, life belongs to you". Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept --> Changing the conventional way of thinking". ---------------------------------------One lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!" This is called "Being Professional --> Focus only on what you are trained to do!" ---------------------------------------When the robbers got back, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber (who is only primary school educated), "Big bro, let's count how much we got", the older robber rebutted and said, "You very stupid, so much money, how to count, tonight TV will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!" This is called "Experience --> nowadays experience is more important than paper qualifications!" --------------------------------------- After the robbers left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. The supervisor says "Wait, wait wait, let's put the 5 million RMB we embezzled into the amount the robbers robbed". This is called "Swim with the tide --> converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!" --------------------------------------- The supervisor says "It will be good if there is a robbery every month". This is called "Killing Boredom --> Happiness is most important." --------------------------------------- The next day, TV news reported that 100 million RMB was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count 20 million RMB.
