We are talking about Premiership NOT premier league. I beg! |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by Jackal(m): 1:09am On May 14, 2006 |
@Akola, I told u most Gunners here r soccer-illiterates. They dont even know the difference btw the Premiership and the OLD 1st Division. I was reading anutha thread about the best strike partnership and one of em said Thierry Henry. How can one player be a partnership? The credibility of this forum is being smeared gradually and if care is not taken,it might get worse. |

Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by Priscila(f): 11:00am On May 14, 2006 |
Jackal! I take your above post as an insult to we new people in sports. Its not fair!-Rectify a mistake if someone who seems naive has written. I think sports is about interest and how one puts the point forward but not history narration. Am a hockey player and the rules in football apply , so I think I can discuss football as well |

Priscilla: you are right. Don't mind them. If an argument erupts,I'll ban everybody involved. Thanks for your understanding. |

Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by hucarson(m): 3:10pm On May 15, 2006 |
@02, "The most stupid idiot, " Stupid idiot? Tautology i guess. What we are saying here is The Premiership is just 14 years and should not be mixed with the old division. Chelsea won the league in 1955 and that wasn't the Premiership but it was the 1st time they wld win the league. You r not only a soccer-illiterate but a stark illiterate. |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by Akolawole(m): 3:28pm On May 15, 2006 |
Whats happening here? He don do. |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by spikelord(m): 3:52pm On May 15, 2006 |
Stupid idiot is not a tautology Mr Hucarson Shoyinka. Stupid is an adjective and idiot is a noun, 02 only indicated how stupid the idiot he was talking about is! No fighting Jackal, just an EXPO for Mr Hucarson Shoyinka. I hope u don't start a beef here, |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by hucarson(m): 8:40pm On May 15, 2006 |
Spikelord Shakespeare, I am sorry to break ur heart by saying u r grossly wrong. Stupid and idiot have the same meaning so the statement is absolutely tautological. Check ur dictionary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for at least displaying ur own low level of literacy. U have now confirmed Jackal's suspicions on Arsenal fans on Nairaland. |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by Priscila(f): 9:23am On May 16, 2006 |
hucarson! Just hold it there! don't start it !I know you like giving people your trouble but not now. Just because you fall to great blues you want to spread your miseries around. please don't! Learned but not educated or is it viceversa? |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by Skintite(f): 9:49am On May 16, 2006 |

Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by hucarson(m): 4:39pm On May 16, 2006 |
@ Skinny Titz. Why r u all over me? Do u have to go this far to get ma attention? Fact is, i don't insult people. I am a strong-minded football fan and i will always speak the truth and nuthing but the truth. Spikelord cannot argue he isn't a soccer-illiterate. Lookie, it's no insult to say someone is a soccer-illiterate. It simply means he knows little or nothing about soccer. U dont expect everyone to know about soccer,do u? I dont understand why u think i am ornery to all Nairalanders who happens to support Arsenal. I like Arsenal as a team. Dennis Bergkamp, was at a time someone i love as a kid but i just dislike the fake hype some gunner fans(especially Nairalanders) give the team. Gooners often disregard objectivity and just post some dud comments that can be very annoying sometimes. Some of em went so far to say Wenger is better than Ferguson. Imagine that? Don't get me wrong,Wenger is a very good manager and he will always get better but peopz should not compare him to Fergie. Feel me? |
Re: English Premier League All Time Winners. by dblock(m): 6:27am On Sep 26, 2006 |
but the premier league evolved from the premiership so i guess it isn't stupid to use both in the same table, in that respect Arsenal has won back to back, that's if you agree that it isn't fair that we are not aknowledged for our past trophies because the present cup is no longer built on that concept |
