I want to known if muslim share the same God with pagan arab (Allah) because prophet muhammad father name is abdullah which mean slave of allah the funny thing is that he was pagan i hear a lot muslim use say ALLAH IS GREAT the qustion is which allah the pagan arab allah or muslim allah and how can one known them an the quran alway tell us to recite in the name of allah but it do not tell us the name of the allah he want us recite with and funny thing is that the so call 99 name of allah are not name but title like father or mother one of the 99 name is greatest i think this not name but title if am great do that make an allah and every tribe have deity the believe as the greatest so how can one differencial the muslim greatest an other non muslim greatest and also believe the word Allah which is arabic word simple mean the God and the word the God is not name but a title what u think guys

Allah was the Supreme Creator God of the Pagan Arabs During Jahilliyah.
Allah symbolically has 3 daughters: Al-Lat, Al-Manat & Al-Uzza.
Rahman was a God in Yemen.

this is why both the Gods are mentioned in the opening verse. there was some sort of truce or somethin. Yemen is the original home of most Arab tribes and Yemen was very powerful back then.
