Amnesty or not, boko haram is the rise of the northern have-nots against their feudal, oligarchic and deceptive elites.
Over the years, a few people had cornered the wealth of the north by deceiving the rest of the populace with religion and the lie that it is allah's wish for them to be poor. Today the chicken has come home to roost and until the last northern oga at the top is made to kiss the dust like the rest of the populace, we shall continue to witness this macabre dance from tome to time. My problem is that the rest of the country is now suffering the effect of this problem with the north.

2015 on my mind, A.P.C on point

Why do you people use terroris and destruction of lives as campaign tool? Does this sound like fun to you? Did you see the republicans use the boston bombing to insult Obama? Or do you see the pakistani of indian oppositions using the bombings there as political tool to fight the government? All over the world, nations unite to fight terrorism, even when they disagree in every other issue. But you folks here are using the Boko Aram terrorism as a campaign tool. So so sad!

Be ready for suicide because he will remain in aso rock till 2019. Typical western hater

Balloons undecided
Is that for weather recon?
In this day and age of drones and artificial intelligence,we dey talk balloons grin

Do you have an idea of how much a drone cost? Moreover the 3 armed forces has operational drones in service.
The idea of a balloon is laudable since its very cost effective way of aerial surveillance unlike the drone which are very expensive and most of them imported at rip-offs. I hope the balloons are mass produced!

The Americans (Customs, ICE, FBI, DEA) use helium balloons equipped with FLIR pods to monitor the border with Mexico so as to checkmate the inflow of illegal immigrants and drugs. Same with the Brazilians who equally use same balloons along with UAVs, recon aircrafts, and satellites to monitor the expansive Amazon jungle so as to checkmate the activities of illegal loggers and drug smugglers.

These balloons are cheaper alternatives to unmanned drones.

It is surprising that many northern leaders know how to stop this unnecessary killings but they wont as their desire is to claim the presidency again.I just pity Jonathan as he came at a time when the northerners feel he is using their tenure as though it was their birthright.Again,is the presidency a birthright for a certain tribe? How can a single tribe hold a country to ransome because of their selfish desires?God is watching!

Inik: The whole amnesty issue is being pushed by greedy northern politicians who have their beady eyes on the oil revenue that will be shared. The boko haram sect has rejected amnesty, the federal government should continue with the stick approach, the Jtf needs to be strengthened and reinforced to smoke out the terrorists from their caves. Justice must prevail, say NO to amnesty for terrorists!
do u think the federal govt can win this war on terrorism with boko haram, those boko haram are not ghost, they live among their people, the main bitter truth is even the presidency does not want this act of terrorism to stop, because boko haram issue is an avenue to diffuse the consciousness of the citizen on the nigeria main problem which is ?.

Only if GEJ can muster courage and attack these BH frontally, this carnage will end.
You don't handle terrorist with kids glove. GEJ should learn from America on how to deal with terrorists.
Unleash all your arsenals and intelligence on them and they'll be slowed down to halt and finally wiped out.
