Manchester United fans are yet to come to terms with the shock retirement of their beloved manager Sir Alex Ferguson and there’s still another shocker, Wayne Rooney one of their top players is seeking for an exit from the club he has played for for nearly a decade.



It’s been reported that Rooney fondly referred to as ‘Wazza’ handed in his transfer request about a fortnight ago! It’s not clear whether the England international has lately felt out of place at Carrington but one thing for sure, there are certain things that have happened during the season that have left many wondering whether the 28-year-old still has a future at United. Notably, his exclusion from United’s Champions League return leg starting eleven at Old Trafford with Real Madrid raised eyebrows.
