A Letter To 40 Years Old Me. by AmiableJay(m): 6:04pm On May 12, 2013
DEAR JERRY.
With joy do I pick us this pen.

To open my heart to you like a broken den.

I know you are now grown and matured.

You deserve to be respected,my Lord.

Though,I dont know how you'll look.

Nor your hobby or what you now like to cook.

In this awe,do I write you this letter.

How are your sons and daughter?

How is your Legal profession and writing flair.

I hope you haven't lost 'your Sun' like Dr. Dre.

I hope you still abide by the ideals you formulated when you were prime.

Those personal quotes that you drafted suitable for all clime.

About equality,equity and natural justice.

I hope you still eschew injustice.

Or have you so much changed.

That the pressures you can no more cage.

Or do you now call the dusk an eclipse.

How are your dormant perjurial skills.

Are they still exticnt or revived.

What of your wife?

The perfect woman made for you.

Do you care for her like a pure wool.

Or is she now a recipient of your verbal tirade.

I hope she doesnt treat you like a fierce masquerade.

Now,this is my purpose of wrting you.

I know you were never perfect nor am i too.

I write to tell you to achieve this simple goal.

It wont be easy, yes I know.

Mr. Jeremiah,if all your dreams fail.

I beg you, just set the set the sail.

Or if your sail is so feeble and frail.

Take to the oars, you cannot fail.

Can you remember the popular Nursery rhyme.

Row row row your boat, that you learnt during your prime.

Do you row your boat gently.

How do you deal with the frustration of the sea.

Do you row it merrily?

Do you think, your destination you'll see.

Remember that death is always at the door.

Like wheat is always on the moor.

Or has luxury taken over your routine.

That your creator you have forsaken?

My admonition for you is inexhaustible.

I laud your patience,it is very credible.

I shall wait for your reply.

Even if it will take many years for the notify.

.........Sincerely yours.....
