BAYERN MUNICH star Franck Ribery has claimed he will never speak to team-mate Jerome Boateng again after the former Manchester City defender drenched him in beer during the Bundesliga winners title celebrations.

During last Saturday's championship celebrations, a seemingly comical incident occurred when a number of Bayern players chased Ribery around the Allianz Arena before covering him in German beer.

What appeared innocuous on first viewing, could have potential ramifications for the Bavarian heavyweights Champions League aspirations after victim Ribery vowed never to speak to perpetrator Boateng again.

Ribery converted to Islam in 2008 in order to marry his his girlfriend Wahiba Belhami - although he got into trouble with the police in 2010 for sleeping with an underage prostitute - although the charges were later dropped.

"I'm not going to talk to Boateng again," fumed Ribery. "He knows that I’m Muslim. I’m pi**ed off."

Munich meet German rivals Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in the Champions League final on May 25, which could see frosty relations between the two players.
