Nigeria unarguably is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Our politicians people agree are to be blamed. However, the roles we as citizens play make us all culpable and guilty as the politicians themselves.I happen to be living by the fence of a politician of the largest political party in Africa. On every election week,at least #1000 or less is distributed to intending voters/party faithfuls. In some other political rallies,Salt,Soap and Maggi are distributed to blind our consciences. The sad thing about this is that when they are not performing we are quick to point accusing fingers not knowing we have sold our birthright to thes political jobbers. This is what we all bargained for having taken the bribes in form of commodities and money.surely we are people without consciences.I hope we change our characters.

Nigerians get the leaders they bargained for...corrupt people breed corrupt leaders. corruption lives in the mentality of an average nigerians. if corruption must stop, then we have to start changing out mentality. it is then we can have the right leaders we all need.
