lolzzz 120k for school fee lwkmd anyway since you dont wana live in d hostel you av 2 option 1 you rent an apartment which is 15k averagely or a self contain which is 30k averagely but u cant compare hostel to outside in d school hostel you dont need to buy the followin....soap tissue matress stove you will only av to bring your brain clothes food stuff and hotplates and ur books plus a bucket and small drinkin cup plus plate and spoon lobatan

Just an advice....got a friend(had 45.5 test average) who applied for civil eng. But was given elect elect DPT,so u shld probably check ur names there(batch b) b4 dec22,he just paid his acceptance fee today.

No Plans Yet to Call off Strike, Says ASUP

Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) has said it has no plan yet to call off its over two months old strike which it embarked upon on the 4th of October, 2013, expressing disappointment at government’s cold attitude towards polytechnic education in Nigeria.
National Publicity Secretary, Mr Clement Chirman, who disclosed this in Jos on Monday said the National Executive Council (NEC) of the union met at the Labour House in Abuja on the 12th of December, 2013 to review the progress made so far on the negotiation with government, and concluded that government has no iota of seriousness towards resolving issues with the union.
He observed that “the seeming preference for university education over polytechnic education in Nigeria by government is disappointing considering that polytechnic graduates have competed favourably well with their university counterparts at workplaces.”

be patient and plan ahead, the bureaucratic settings in Ede didn't allow anyone to know d actual date the list will be release. I was there when the governing council meeting was held last week but they didn't reach a consensus on the actual date for the new list.
