Beautiful woman. Beautiful music. Beautiful era. Life was so beautiful back then.

This lady's songs collectively represent part of the outstanding soundtrack of my memorable childhood. God bless her wherever she is. *sheds a few tears of nostalgia*

hisxlency: Each and every one off her song have a message to pass across.
yeah better than the meaningless rubbish they sing these days displaying pornography in the name of music. I hope our present artist will get a message from these and use their talents to send messages through songs so as to help this generation.

Brings back good memories. Was she not the one that sang the popular "Home sweet Home" song. Well, like she said in the song she'll always come back home.

There is no place like home
Home sweet home
I travel East, North, South, and West
I will always come back home

People hmm we are praising and missing that era I bet most these people singing her praises once had something bad to say about her. We don't value what we have till it's gone.

Dear Nigerians today, we have the opportunity in our hands to bring change. VOTE FOR YOUR COUNTRY in the miss African pagent. She plans to set up a charity in Nigeria for breast cancer. The pageant company will take this on if she wins the contest. We need modern and high tech equipment to help Nigeria like the First world countries. YOUR VOTE COUNTS. We have always been strong regardless of our economic and political problems. WE CAN DO IT AGAIN, WE CAN MAKE THE CHANGE WE WANT.

I may be wrong but I don't think people had anything bad to say about her.whenever I hear her songs,I'm caterpaulted back to my childhood.most of d people "singing her praises" here were kids when she sang and were only too happy to dance to her "happy birthday" tunes during "baideis" like d OP called it.besides,I think she's scandal free.Evi Edna is fondly remembered.
