You saw a shirt for 97K. You didn't have the cash, so you borrowed 50K from ur mom &50K from ur dad = 100K. You bought the shirt & had 3K change. You gave ur dad 1K & ur mum 1K & kept the other 1K for urself. Now you owe urmum 49K& ur dad 49K. Now 49K+49K = 98K + ur 1K= 99k. Where is the missing 1K? ,solve it! HAPPY SUNDAY |

I owe dad 50k and mum 50k, I bought a shirt of 97k, 97000 divided by 2 is 48500, meaning I owe dem 48500 + 1000 = 49500 each, but I returned 1k each, and kept 1k for my self, dat means I now owe dem each 48500 + 500 i.e. 1k I kept for my self divided by 2, meaning I owe dem 49,000 each, plus d 1k I returned earlier, dat makes it 50,000naira each:p |

Ur 1k shd not be added cos is among d 98k making d addition meaningless. Instead shd be subtracted 4rm d 98k 2 get d revised bill of 97k.D 100k is accounted 4 as shirt 4 97k,1k 4 mom,1k 4 dad and 1k 4 u adding up 2 100k.since refund of 2k has been made we only ve 2 account 4 98k.Again shirt 4 97k and u took 1k. This also add up. |
