Hi, is your sister profoundly deaf? If she is, a hearing aid wouldn't help her as far as I am aware, but she might benefit from using a cochlear implant, I don't know if these are available in Nigeria. On the other hand if she has some hearing loss, and needs sound amplified, then the hearing aid should be okay, You should get her checked by a specialist, HTH |

Try invisiblehearing.com.ng for hearing aid They are based in Nigeria and have HQ in UK I sent them and audiogram and they emailed me back a quote (subject to confirmation in consultation) did you find a suitable hearing aid in the end? |

Hello friend,I would advice you take your sister to a good clinic for an Otoscopic test that will reveal what is actually wrong with her ear first before seeking for a hearing aid. It could be an infection. Where are u? |
