Why is the mother in-law and daughter in-law relationship so difficult for so many people? Is it a 'control' thing? Is it that the older woman finds it hard to 'let go' of her son? Can mother in laws ever win? Some people dislike them if they criticize and interfere whilst others dislike them if they don't show any interest or offer advice. Some are disliked if they buy their grandchildren a gift and again if they don't buy anything. They are disliked if they want to see their grandchildren but are also disliked if they don't come to visit or want to help. Can the relationship ever work without any animosity? Kindly share your opinion regarding this issue.
