After going through a gruelling, yet memorable 5-set thriller with The joker and world No 1, Novak Djokovic, on Friday 7/6/13 which ended in Nadal's favour 6-4,3-6,6-1,7-6,9-7, Nadal predictably today 9/7/13 easily shoved aside fellow spaniard David Ferrer 6-3,6-2,6-3 in only 90 minutes to win the French Open for a record eight time! It was the first time ever for David Ferrer to play in a grand slam final in over 43 grand slam appearances. Congrats Rafa, you are doubtless the King of clay and an all-time Tennis Legend.
