Wisdom is very essential 2 our daily living.James 1:5 says "If any of u lack wisdom,let him ask God,dat giveth 2 all men liberally,nd upbraideth not; and it shall be given him". Wisdom comes in instalments nd is available 2 all who re ready 2 ask,study God's Word nd walk closer wit d Spirit of God - who is d Spirit of Wisdom.Hw do u get wisdom? First it is by getting information. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study 2 shew thyself approved unto God, a workman dat needeth not to be ashamed,rightly dividing d word of truth". Proverbs 2:1-7 says u should receive God's words nd instruction bcus in d process,u wil be wise.D time spent with God's Word is never wasted. Anoda way of accessing wisdom is by receiving revelation - dis means understanding d meaning or implication of d information received.If u re driving out of town in an area u hav never been b4 nd u see a sign post on which is written: narrow bridge ahead - dis is information.D revelation here is d implication of dat information: dat d bridge cannot take two vehicles @ a time nd d realisation dat someone else may be on d bridge b4 u.Wisdom den instructs u 2 act on dat revelation by slowing down.Take 4 instance d woman caught in adultery in John 8:3-11.She was arraigned b4 Jesus nd her offence was read out - dat was information.But beyond dis,Jesus had a revelation 4rm God's Word: "For all have sinned, nd come short of d glory of God;Romans 3:23"Thereafter,Jesus simply applied dat revelation by asking anyone among her accusers who had never sinned 2 start stoning d woman,nd one after anoda,dey silently disappeared.Dat is wisdom in operation.Furthermore,God can give u wisdom tru a gift of d Spirit - d word of wisdom.Every leader needs wisdom.In every sphere of life wisdom is required.Hw much of wisdom do u hav 2 operate as a leader,spouse,as a parent,in ur workplace or ministry? Do u spend time 2 access information nd further move towards revelation? Do u act on d revelation received?
