NIGERIAN JOURNALISTS ARE PROSTITUTES .. by byteem: 11:55am On Jun 10, 2013
AS OPPOSED TO THE EIGHTIES AND EARLY NINETIES WHEN JOURNALISM WAS PRACTICED IN NIGERIA WITH FLAIR AND DIGNITY.. THE CURRENT GENERATION OF NIGERIAN JOURNALIST HAVE BECOME PROSTITUTES WHO WILL LAY AT THE RIGHT PRICE.

THE ERA OF ENVELOPES IS NOW THE ORDER OF THE DAY WITH MEDIA PRACTITIONERS .. YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM TO COVER YOUR EVENT , PAY TO WRITE UR STORY HOW YOU WANT IT .. ITS SO BAD .. THEY LOBBY TO VISIT POLITICIANS BECAUSE THEY ARE CERTAIN OF RECEIVING GENEROUS PACKAGES AS GIFTS.

THEY WILL USURP STORIES TO PUT FORWARD THE OPINIONS OF THOSE WHO PAY THEM BETTER..

GONE ARE THE DAYS WHEN POLITICIANS FEARED JOURNALIST AS THEIR CREDIBLE STORIES MADE OR MARRED EMPIRES .. THESE DAYS THE STORY GOES TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER...

Very true! Journalists of nowadays will never write a story or give an account of an event unbiased without looking for the highest bidder that would pay for such stories to the person's favour. The new generation of 'Brown-Envelope savvy' Journalists is what I call them.
