Some northern leaders have accused President Goodluck Jonathan of trying to divide their ranks using a ‘divide and rule’ tactics. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, Jeremiah Useni, said this at the opening of the organisation’s Annual General Meeting in Kaduna. Mr. Useni accused the Federal Government of adopting a divide-and-rule tactics to polarise the North ahead of the 2015 election. “I am very sad that the presidency have started divide and rule on the north. Recently we noticed with dismay that some members of this organisation have gone to the president and assured him that he must contest for election in 2015. If de president is using 'divide n rule' tactics like Mr. Useni claimed, then I say de presidentis not in any way 'clueless' as some peeps in NL will suggest. It started wit de NGF,(Jonah n Amaechi factions), then some govs in de northern Gov's forum started pulling out of their norther forum.
