how do I root my phone? I got 'drivers not successfully nks installed' when I connected it to my pc and all rooting processes I've come across require PC . thanks

Guys I downloaded bbm thru one of the link here and when I entered my email this is wat I got in screen shot.
How do i work around dis pls? Make me sef join the pinging family, havent been on nairaland for a while cos i was down, its gud to be back sha.

I just loaded airtel 500, d cash varnished den I tried checkn d bundle by *141*11*0# which sm1 told me, I saw "You have 138.15MB left of your databundle plan. Your bundle expires on 05-Nov-2013. Airtel"

Bt I didn't subscribe anythn b4 oooo. Seems my #500 hv just automatically gone 4 it.

bro if what you want is to do is a restore of your stock rom and phone is already dead/bricked. I will recommend you do the following.
1.flash chinese firmware via sp flash tool.*ask me for guide if you are lost*
2.Root chinese firmware/flash cwm to it via mobile uncle.*still ask me for help if you are lost.*
3. Move the stock root backup from you pc or anywhere you stored it to
sd/clockwork/backup. *usually backup is a folder with auto name that says d date it was made.
4.boot to cwm and wipe data,factory settings,cache partition and dalvik cache, then goto backup and restore and restore your stock rom.

[b]INSTALL ANDROID 4.2.2 CAMERA/GALLERY APP

You’ll need a clockworkmod (cwm) recovery to flash the zip file.
1. Download the Camera/ Gallery package, Copy the 4.2Camera_t04_2.zip file to your device. Remember the folder where you copy it to.

2. Turn off the phone and boot into CWM recovery.

3. Before u flash/install the new Android 4.2 camera app with gallery app, it’s wise to back up the current rom first. So, once you boot into recovery mode, use the backup option and complete a full backup first.

4. Now, to install the Android 4.2 camera app, select Install, then browse and select the 4.2Camera_t04_2.zip file you downloaded. Confirm installation to flash it.

5. After installation is complete, select the Reboot system button to reboot the phone.

Check recycle bin if you deleted it on a Windows os computer. Else OYO who fit upload 700mb this hard times

@godvilla pls I need your help now.....a friend of mine who is on xperia HD ROM want to switch back to his default rom....he has his recovery.IMG in his clock word mod folder......so how can he go about it....

I did a cwm backup on my sdcard. I now mistakenly deleted the cwm folder. So I cannot restore back to stock ROM.

Lol. It was not on PC so I can't check recycle bin. Abi you get recycle bin for ur own phone. I know I might not get to DL but if dia is a way we can hook up I will appreciate it.
