Both teams lost their opening matches and are currently 3rd and 4th on the table.

The unsatisfactory performance of some players in the Flying Eagles opener against Portugal is set to cost them their place in Monday’s squad for Cuba duel.

The six-time African champions are expected to ring some changes in midfield and attack as they go for broke on Monday afternoon.

Affected players

Defensive midfielder Moses Orkuma is expected to join the fray along with Ovbokha Agboyi as coach John Obuh reverts to his preference for two holding midfielders.

Sporting Braga-bound Chidi Osuchukwu disappointed against Portugal and may likely lose his first-team place.

Spy

Obuh has admitted Cuba are unknown quantity, but assistant coach Yakubu Maidajin was dispatched to watch their opening game against Cuba and should have some useful information about this island-nation.

Same problem affecting the senior team is affecting the U20. No decent striker. Watch out for Kayode as he wastes so many chances.

If Nigeria doesnt win Cuba today, let them even forget playing their last game and return home. I really dunno why Nigerian teams are having attacking problems Buh i hope to see some of the FE players in the SE team cool

You can tell boldly that those players are not disciplined atall. They lack communication among themselves and play like they are being begged to play. I haven't seen any coching ability in that dog eater of a coach.
