What kind of yeye story is this one?

How does the man get off keeping a $100k at home? And didn't report it missing? Abi him no notice say the money don lost?
Re: House-help, Lover, others Arrested For Robbery In Lagos by sage2(m): 5:43pm On Jun 23, 2013
Oh, thank God the devil wasn't blame for this one. This is, indeed, very rare in Nigeria, where the devil is blamed for every unsuccessful crime or misdeed.
Re: House-help, Lover, others Arrested For Robbery In Lagos by sage2(m): 5:48pm On Jun 23, 2013
Somebody probably thought there is more where the $100k came from and decided to go for it.

Gboliwe: Who is this chief Uche that keeps $100,000 in his house?

Well the very man that should provide answers to a serious police force. Holding 16 million in cash is a step away from criminality. The rest of the story is hollywood low budget material.

You no read say the man bin travel go abroad abi? At times, you don't immediately discover that something is missing from where you kept it until the day you decided to look it up.

This story is one cooked-up B.S. Which Igbo Chief knowing fully well how bad lagos is will leave the sum of $100,000 in this house and travel out of the country with his senses intact?
Vanguard, nice one...sell the story to Tchidi Chikere or Emem Isong so they can produce a movie out of it titled, "Betrayed Love" or "The House-help". Mtchewwwww!!

This story sweet sha! At a point, I just felt as if I was watching a movie when I got to where Chibuike was kidnapped and tortured. But to the story now, why is Adaeze crying because of betrayal by her boyfriend? Your oga at the top also trusted you-that was why he left you at home with such amount of money. How do you expect him to feel although I also blame him for keeping such money in the house. So young lady, you got what you deserved. But I even thought the robbery incident would have covered her wrongdoing of the stolen $100,000. How were they exposed? I wish the story revealed it. Too many thieves in this story-this one na case of thief steal am, thief collect am.

Oga, dis one no necessary at all. From all the stories we have been reading on this site, it is clear that any tribe can do anything for money.

Gboliwe: Who is this chief Uche that keeps $100,000 in his house?
Ryt!! He even left it an travelled. I 1 way the chief is really very lousy. Who leaves 100k dolls for house n travel of course it will be taking nw, no body is born a tif stealing is based on opportunity. In the other hand the chief shuld be investigated too, if he too got the money tru a genuine way why wuldnt he deposit the money in a bank b4 travelling. Finally this story sounds like one of dem Nollywood movies I was hoping to c a poster n a "coming soon". Cos the whole story sounds like a movie trick.

Dat money is definitely not "clean". Not sure if they make juju dollars. But my bet is drug or govt money. The house help must ve been seeing money around the chiefs room probably while cleaning. As for that boyfriend, he sure has dreams. He succeeded in carrying out what some pple have taken 10-15 yrs of their working life to do within one week. Anyways wish dem a blissful stay at the other side.

Okoros and their money palaver...
"chief" uche : definitely a very shady character. Most likely a drug baron. He should be investigated by the police (the story is just barely unfolding !)

Adaeze the house maid : like most ibos, rushed down to "ragos"after leaving her village school. Immediately on the lookout for fast cash. The fact that the " chief" was nice to her means nothing to her and her quest to "make it".

Onyebuchi: probably one of the fools always flexing their tiny muscles on nairaland. Most likely an Alaba or ladipo hustler.note how he quickly buys himself a car and a piece of land. Certainly would have made a quick dash to his village to celebrate how his industriousness has paid off in Lagos . Even his folks will not ask him HOW?? He graduated instantly from penury to a millionaire.

Nnamdi and his "military cohorts": these are the most dangerous among the lot. In actual fact they are hardened criminals who have severally engaged in armed robbery, kidnapping and serial assassinations. They should be properly interrogated.
