Despite having their unifying icon (Nelson Mandela) being in a critical condition for over two weeks now, there has been no call to 'urgently' fly him abroad for 'expert' treatment. If it were in Naija right from when it was diagnosed that he had TB, flying abroad would have been like commuting to office every morning.

Like our Minister for Power said ...the power issue in Nigeria is caused by demons, I wonder what is the cause of the unending corruption and lackadaisical attitude to our welfare I this country.

Thank God for a new week ...watching with keen interest how Nigerian Officials would react to the new £3k surcharge for Nigerians travelling to the UK.

The result of bad governance and corruption over the years!

Wishing Madiba speedy recovery.

There are Nigerian doctors working in all hospitals in major cities and towns in the UK and at the same time there is chronic shortage of doctors in Nigeria. The brain drain in favour of the UK should be a major source of concern and in particular healthcare disciplines.
