The Microsoft Exchange Specialist (Client Tech Specialist) will configure and implement, program and provide technical support for the following technologies: Exchange 2010; Active Directory; SMTP; E-Mail security/spam protection/ email firewall technologies; Powershell scripting; Lync; Blackberry Enterprise Server and devices; Activesync and various mobile devices. Advanced expertise and knowledge with Microsoft Exchange and e-mail phishing forensics.

Job Description
• Responsibility for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the distributed systems messaging environment. Monitors systems, responds to problems and plans for growth.
• Provides in depth systems analysis.
• Designs, installs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots complex messaging platforms.
• Provides technical consulting on the use and integration of applications into the operating environment.
• Performs additional job duties as required.
• Works with corporate-wide technical staff and large external clients on complex projects and tasks.
• Works independently and with leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Previous experience of managing messaging infrastructure in a large (15K+ mailbox) corporation with Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003 and later
• Support experience in an Exchange 2010/2013 environment and scripting experience with PowerShell
• Prior experience in managing RIM BlackBerry Enterprise Server or Good Mobile Messaging Server
• Possess a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with limited outside assistance
• Experience managing RightFAX, Quest MessageStats, McAfee Ironmail, Trend Micro ScanMail, Veritas Cluster Services, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, SolarWinds, Boxtone, ProofPoint a plus
• Will be required to participate in 24x7x365 on-call rotation

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor degree in Computer science or equivalent and at least five years (5+) experience working with Exchange and ability to design, configure and implement e-mail infrastructure related modifications and troubleshoot problems pertaining to infrastructure required. Experienced with troubleshooting and working knowledge of various email clients connected to Exchange, including Outlook (2007, 2010, 2011), Entourage, OWA , Macmail and activesync devices. Familiarity with Axway/Tumbleweed or equivalent email firewall security gateway. Ability to professionally interact with users, vendors, developers, peer technical groups/staff and executive management; excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
