Unconfirmed reports going round asaba, Delta state capital says sen Pius Ewherido of delta state is dead.

Pls can anyone confirm it?

He's dead.

Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Pius Ewherido has died.

The senator reportedly fell down three days ago and collapsed at his Abuja home while making a phone call and had been hospitalized at the National Hospital Abuja in preparation for treatment in Germany when he suddenly collapsed and died in hospital today.

Sahara, which report do we believe, I thought they said he collapsed in a hotel with one prostitute 3days ago, now they are saying he collapsed at home.

Well both conflicting stories says he collapsed, with time we will know where he collapsed.

Akpor Pius Ewherido, the Senator representing Delta Central senatorial district of Delta State in the Nigerian Senate has died.

Family sources told www.thetimesofnigeria.com that the senator died today after suffering a fatal stroke yesterday.

“I can confirm to you that our dear senator died a few hours ago.” A close friend of the senator told thetimesofnigeria.com correspondent in Abuja a few minutes ago.

The source said that the Delta State government had actually concluded plans to evacuate him oversee following the stroke.

So sad. A vibrant young man. Though I don't subscribe to his political party( DPP=APC) but this one time speaker and I think secretary to delta state government shook everybody when he defeated chief Amori to win the senatorial seat in delta central.May his soul rest in peace.

So sad. This is a man that wrestled power from PDP during the 2011 Delta Central Senatorial District election. The only Senator out of the 109 seats that came from an unpopular party DPP. May his soul rest in peace

A man who sold his brother, Ibori, to enemies because he was deprived of being governor of delta state. Vanity upon vanity. Used his position as speaker to provide evidence to have Ibori jailed.

Let this not be true.Amori's hand must be involved.Everybody that contested against him now has stroke and two are now dead.First it was Amb.Ogbonde attacked and died of stroke,Secondly Chief Charles Obule attacked by stroke though still alive but sick now Sen.Pius Ewherido attacked and died of stroke.Hon.Halims Agoda should be closer to God and stay clear from this man cause as it looks he is the only one alive,strong and healthy.That Amori is evil.
