Senior Marketing and Sales Manager

Company: A Virtual Internet Service Provider

Our client is a start up service provider with an estimated capital base of $8million and a targeted subscriber base of 210,000 over 5years.
As a key figure in the Senior Executive team you will lead the Sales & Marketing Division consisting of no more than 25 staff in the areas of Sales & Distribution, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Pricing, Market Research & Planning, Brand Vision and Identity.
Your brief will be to drive marketing & pricing strategies and execution of product services through collaborative influences and organisational & personal credibility with the Sales & Marketing Team members. You will collaborate with the Product development team to set the Company’s rolling product plans and competitive analysis in all markets. Importantly you will provide both strategic and operational expertise on market positioning and branding of the Company and its product offerings.
Specific responsibilities:
• Design programs and strategies that aggressively drive the brand and increase market share
• Propose and implement programs that translate into financial profits
• Implement sales programs that increase subscriber base and massively penetrate the Abuja Business segment
• Within 6 months show the increase in sales and subscriber numbers through various innovative technological and go to market launch plans
• Propose and Implement competitive market analysis and impact strategies
• Design and coordinate the functional utilization of formalized processes and documentation systems
• Demonstrate ability to manage strategic business relationships and forecast risk and reward scenarios, as well as document return on investment.
• Exhibit an exceptional knowledge and understanding of telecommunications industry or WiMAX Technology or an ISP, marketing concepts and sales programs.
• Ability to communicate at the Executive level and have the ability to provide perspective to Senior Management about marketing operations.

Requirement:

• Must have work experience in a start up firm
• At least 5-7 years work experience
• Must have Masters degree in equivalent field experience
• Experience with mobile operators or telecom or ISPs is a plus
• Brand management and Channel management experience is critical
