Our client is a non-profit organisation is seeking to fill this position.

Responsibilities:

Organizes and coordinates meetings within Component 2, with other SEDIN components and partner organisations (working with Component 2)
Responsible for the distribution of invitations and confirmation of attendance
Drafts agendas, prepares and finalizes minutes of meetings in consultation with technical staff and Head of the component
Prepares work plans, activity budgets and PowerPoint presentations. Compiles data, edits and proofreads papers, letters etc.
Sets up and maintains files for the component. Organizes relevant publications.
Responsible for organizing the travel arrangements of Component 2 staff
Any other task assigned by the Head of the component


Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of H.N.D. or B.Sc. in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration or Social Sciences
1-3 years’ work experience in a private business, academic institution or public office
Proficiency in English (and knowledge of a European language especially German will be an added advantage)
Disciplined, resourceful, punctual with the ability to take initiative
Presentable with excellent interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn as required by the tasks to be performed
