Please Nairalanders I Need Your Advice. by tundeayo2020: 8:36am On Jul 10, 2013
I am a student currently studying computer science at uniben and this is my 2nd year there . I wrote jamb last year scored 263, And pume at uniben had 65 but was not admitted this year i sat for jamb scored 196 despite the mass failure ,I bought a change of institution form. I made AAU,EKPOMA my first choice, and DELSU, ABRAKA as my 2nd choice. But my biggest fear now is the "no job for state university graduates" policy . A coursemate of mine is strongly warning me not to study at AAU. He said is elder brother and friends who graduated from AAU are currently jobless. As their chances of getting a good job as an AAU graduate is/was very low compared to federal universities. Please fellow nairalanders are these speculations true? or these guys weren't lucky in the first place? Cos i totally hate the course am currently studying with passion. I intend studying elect/elect engine... At AAU . Since uniben is not granting me permission to do so. Rather than giving me computer science back then in 2011 . Am confused ? Please i need your counsel on this issue. Thank you
