Hello Nairalanders! As a teen/researcher, i've decided to do some research about how many hours is an average Nigerian teenager supposed to sleep in a day. We all know that teens of nowadays now deprive themself from adequate night rest as teens prefer 2going, whatsapping, bbming and facebooking. Studies as shown that sleep deprivation is dangerous especially to adolescence like me. So the big question here is; "how many hours of sleep is an average Nigerian teenager suppose to get in a day?" please i need qualitative response from you guys. Thanks.

Waiting for response because i think i'm guilty of this. Is sleep deprivation really that bad and what are the effect one might encounter in the future?
