Bandely FC is back!

Speaking to the press this midnight, the spokesperson of Bandely FC, Mr. Ketu-Ojota Mile12, said the club is sorry for not been able to participate in the competition last season.

In his words “it is lugubrious that Bandely FC missed out last year's edition of the competition, but we are looking to repay our fans for the supports and faith which they have shown the club.”

Speaking lengthily he reiterated the club's goal of achieving success. “We cannot deny the fact Bandely FC is a big club and that a big club is expected to achieve big. On this note, we're promising the footballing and managerial community especially everyone affiliated to the club in one way or the other that we are going to give 101% to achieve our goals. We are lucky to have the right manager for our campaign , in person of Ichie Masterpiece A.K.A Dibia of West London and the Babalawo of Cardiff, to be steering the team." Speaking further, he described Ichie Masterpiece as an experienced manager. "Ichie is an household name, an experienced manager and a tactical guru who has coached teams like Tahiti and American Samoa to glory! He won two world cups with Tahiti and a Confederation Cup with American Samoa. We can be rest assured tha he'll do a good job at the Orita Fogo stadium (Junction of Bottle Breaking Stadium)."

He also reminded the fans of the availability of season tickets, that many more is still up for sale and the fans should continue to show their supports for the club by purchasing the tickets and thus becoming season ticket holders.

On a lighter note, he added that the club will look for every possible means to win, even if it means hacking into other managers' 'game plan'.

I've been reading some of the posts since last time here for over an hour now, and I saw this link www.nairaland.com/1372903/fantasy-premier-league-betting about a betting version. By the way, that word "betting" sounds um...um... That's not even the issue.

I wonder if it is impossible for some people to just volunteer some money instead for the winners of the leagues to get a drink for their effort? Such individuals could be credited in the original post as donating. I've seen some leagues offering between £10 and £100 for winners elsewhere. I believe some people may be able to do same here. Winners who feel the prizes are too little may give same to charity or forfeit into the prize pot.

So much for the long story. And just a thought, by the way.
