AvantGarde FC making steady progress. We were mid-50s a few GWs ago, now pushing for top 20. cool

I suggest that for the leagues, a max/min score should be chosen for relegating and promoting teams.

Let's say teams with 2,300 points and above will remain/get promoted to Premier league, those with 1,800 - 2,299 stays/relegated to Championship and so on.

Same can be done for the h-2-h competitions too.

My 2 cents.

^^ too arbitrary. What if no one makes the cut? Or if only 2 get relegated? It needs to be based on final standings on the table.

anyone below 50th position relegates. if there's a tie then the points on the last day of the season will determine who makes the cut. if there's another tie, the points on the first day of the season will be used. if there's another tie - i would organise a traditional wrestling in the mud.

I think the top 10/15 in the championship should be promoted and bottom 15 in the premier league relegated. I'm assuming only the top 50 will be taken into account here. If you ain't in the top 50 of either league, you shouldn't even be thinking of promotion grin grin
Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2013/2014 by 2legit2qwt: 7:25pm On Dec 11, 2013
Ok i guess it should be dependent on the number of teams allowed in the premier league
Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2013/2014 by chamotex(m): 8:42pm On Dec 11, 2013
Only 60 teams will be allowed to participate in next year's Nairaland Premier League.
Which means top 50 will keep their place and 10 teams promoted from the Championship.

In the cups, 4 teams will get relegated whilst 4 teams plus winner gets promoted If winner not in top 4, which means it could end up being 5 teams getting relegated.

I think this is fair enough.

60 teams? too low, mate. make it 70.
pity managers like debosky & dyabman who have never made the first page.

it will be fun watching what ibime makes of his eroded credibility in the championship. how the mighties have fallen. grin cheesy grin

This may be a bit harsh on the championship sides; some that finished 11th or so may have garnered more points than the 30's at premiership. Think about extending it to 70 teams; 20 from championship.

Keep the top 40 in the premier league and take the top ten from the champions league to make it 50. Let the leagues be in multiple of 50 because after all it doesn't look like all the top 50 players will be here to discuss the league. grin

true that, chamotex 20 for the championships will be okay. There are those in the main league that their teams are on autopilot but enters top 50, and those actively involve in building their teams week in week out that may not qualify. Dont you think it will be unfair to still have these inactive managers for another season at the detriment of the active ones?

dyabman - sack your manager & employ the jobless captain amalanga of the disbanded ipukulu marines. he's currently out of job & he's been terrorising female teenagers in his territory.

Captain dilemma

Aguero at EHihad vs Arsenal, Suarez at White hart lane vs Spurs or Lukaku vs Fulham

Just like Robert Boyle would help his fellow alchemists, i'd help Dayokanu cheesy

Hand the captain's armband to the diminutive Argentine forward - he's a proven big match stuff.

Fulham and Spuds would only present intricate games for Lukaku and Suarez respectively.

That guy, I no go talk say I regret allowing point deductions to get him only to get about 8 points over four gameweeks in return. Guess he has seen the last week in my team, at least for now.

Suarez proving his critics wrong. I'm glad Aguero is injured. I pray his price crashes before he recovers; so I can afford him then.
