Thank God I followed my heart to captain Lukaku. Sigh of relief at least, not until Suarez completes his match though. |

Somehow, I think I have snagged another win in the FA Cup, even without captain bonus. My first back-to-back wins in a while. Galacticos, you took a big risk there making 4 transfers against a team set up like mine, you know? Perhaps, you don even submit before the matches kick off sef. |

p_kasso: Thank you very Mutch! You can say that again! Had Mutch on my bench, and he has wiped away my sorrow of not having Rooney and Ozil playing. How I wish Clyne didn't come in to play for 3mins, I have an Hull defender with 6 points on the bench. But having 62 to my opponent's 29, I cant complain too much. Erm...erm.. I hope Librans FC is not Mukina2's team again, I didn't expect to overtake her in FA Cup till the January ending that I gave her, but looks like I will cross the year on top of her in FA... better beg Fredooo to take you to Awon Iya make dem wash your head and your team, I will so flog that your big yansh if I overtake you in the main league too next year.... you were more than 100pts ahead of me just 3 weeks ago and now the gap is just a lil above 30. Abeg Fredooo carry your girlfriend and her team go meet Awon Iya for prayers |

wow. I had to defeat number 1 spot(Iroc) when i was number 2 to take the Christmas number 1. I lost on boxing day and was dropped to number 2 and The Amigos took number 1.As fate will have it,I had to defeat another number one team (The Amigos) to take the number 1 spot again which will take us through the new year. Similar to what i said during the Christmas break. I am looking down at all of you wishing you all Happy new year in advance. |

Although I'm not with you lot in your leagues but I want to share my game week experience with you all. Similar to others, all my benched players were substituted for inactive players. The only positive for me this GW was me having Hazard as my vice-captain. I sold Ramsey, Ozil, Negredo & Goufran then bought Silva, Henderson, Podolski & Rooney. At the end of the day, I had 43 points. -8 for transfers makes it 35 for the week. Now I've KO from the FA cup. The annoying part of this all is that up to 3 of my players won't be available this coming GW. All na part of the game sha |

Happy new year! I guess everyone is willing to forget the past weeks and focus on a new-year campaign. Last week was a week to forget; but it taught us a good lesson; don't joke with the vice captain choice. Last week saw my gamble list perform better than the prospects; no thanks to some 'silly' late injuries and rotation plans of some managers. I will do a little captain analysis for the week. Suarez Negredo Walcot Suarez As predicted last time, he once more failed to score in a big fixture; although his assist was a big relief to many. Hosting a Hull side that walloped a weak Fulham 6 - 0 last week, suarez will be looking forward to returning to scoring ways and is a perfect prospect for the armband. I guess most managers will give him the armband, but if you don't own him, or you wish to think and act outside the box, here are other options for you. Negredo With Aguero's return within the corner, Negredo will be willing to seal his position with the team, especially now that Dzeko is scoring and the manager is willing to make him (Dzeko) remain at the club when the window opens. Negredo should be fresh and back to the line-up. Walcot Some argued last week that he deserved a mention; I think now is the ripe time for that. With ozil injured and fresh rumors that Giroud may be sidelined, all eyes will be on Theo to deliver. The Gamble Rooney: it still remains doubtful if he will feature due to injury, so it will be a big gamble to hand him the armband. Hazard: ____________ Cleansheet potentials: Arsenal: playing at home to cardiff city. Crystal palace: much have been said about the palace defense. They nearly ran away with a cleansheet at Etihad; a ground that have seen Arsenal and spurs concede 6 goals apiece. |

lalaboi: Actually he's 111 points behind me... I've also gone from being 5 to 50 points clear at the top, so yes I have 'broken free' from the chasing pack |
