Aww ur daughter is so cute...but u need to have a good moisture protein balance for ur hair to be healthy. I deep condition once a week with a moisturizing deep conditioner (mix honey and creme of nature argan oil dc) and the following week i use a mild protein deep conditioner (ors replenishing pak), but never overload on the protein as it can cause breakage. Our hair is fragile to have a balance between moisture and protein for it to grow healthy. If u find urs is especially fragile u may want to nix the chemicals like i did.
Moisturizer ur hair everyday and seal in the moisture with a small amount of oil or butter...i simply spritz my hair with some water and seal it with shea butter.
PS..try not to use a lot of shampoo as they contain harmful sulfates that break down the hair. I use a sulfate free shampoo.
