Before we even complain, how many of us actually 'save' money in those accounts. Truth be said we basically run them like a current account without a cheque book.

That was one of the reason I stop using my fidelity bank account.
They just keep deducting
if it is not sms charge it would atm maintenance charge na wa oh.

I was credited with little naira as interest by GTB on 1st of july.

Op, contact your branch and knw the reason for deduction, then you can come here to defame GTB.

Gtb credits my account every month as my interest, I knw this month they deducted 50 naira but it was well explained " use to renew my atm card cos the card will expire next month August" so I believe gtb is still the best.

Well I'm not surprise by your claim , that's what we see in Nigeria when people like you fail to read instructions or fail to understand simple explanation from bank ...... Better go and buy Eze goes to school and start afresh

i'm thinking to quit UBA for a better bank.though i'm not interested in the interest but they keep deducting my money as if i give them standing order to buy guguru,groundnut and pure water on my behalf.u'll just check ur statement to see #10 or even more fashy.

While you are here ranting and ranting... why not call your account officer or visit the bank to register your complain? All these coming to the internet to bad mouth any service provider instead of trying to resolve it. Is this suppose to make you smart? There are other banks in Nigeria why not close your kobo-kobo account? Or keep your money under your bed.

Wow. I didn't know it happens to all. I opened a GTB account then as a corp member. Now, my office uses sterling. Most times I just put some amount In the GTB acct to keep it going. They deduct my money indiscriminately, without an alert! Some months ago, about 200naira was missing. Last month I know I had about 83k and some change in that acct. Now its 82 ,112naira. I complained. They explained. And its gone.
